I found my DD-canon beta and he really liked the fic! Okay. Deep breaths. I actually do know these characters well enough to keep them IC.

(I'm loving the DD comic each month, but I only came on-board about a year ago and I've been slowly filling in the canon by getting the back issues on Comixology. Still, with a character that's been around for 40 years, although I don't think anyone expects me to have read every singly appearance he's made since 1964, but my main reason for wanting a canon beta was because I wasn't sure if reading 20 or so issues was going to be enough for me to get the characters right.)

Okay, just waiting on my regular beta. When it comes to spelling/grammar/punctuation, I'm used to having two of them.

Whew

comments

Matt-Foggy h/c, just over 6,000 words. It's probably about a PG-13 rating, with trigger warnings for talk of cancer and chemotherapy side effects and mention of puking and cleaning up (not graphic, but pretty clear what's going on.)

(I'll be checking out the beta comms too. Just thought I'd see if people I already know somewhat are willing to take a shot.)

Thanks!

comments
