Dear Yuletide Writer

Hi!
This is my first time doing/participating in Yuletide and I'm kind of excited.
I've been into Daredevil for a couple of years now and I've read all of Volumes 2, 3, and 4 (Comixology and Marvel Unlimited FTW!) and parts of Volume 1 (whatever's available online, which would mean about the first 50 issues, some of the "DD and BW" period, a lot of Miller (including Born Again) and some Nocenti). Other parts of Volume 1 are fine, but keep in mind that I might not get those references.
I'm a genfic lover. I don't mind romance if it's in the background, but I'm really more there for the Matt-Foggy bromance. If you are putting in one of Matt's previous GFs, I don't really have a preference, though about all I know of Glori O'Breen (remember, gaps in Volume 1 online) comes either before she and Matt started dating or after she'd already broken up with Matt and started getting involved with Foggy.
I really only know her current run under Charles Soule. Again, genfic. Light stuff, comedy, day-in-the-life, guest stars welcome.
Wide open here. I will say that I'm not a big fan of stories written when the kids are all grown up. Mary's 11th birthday? Wonderful. Colin nervous about being sent off to boarding school at 14? All good. But, Mary at 30 taking her little girl into the garden she loved as a child? Not so much.
Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. Like I said, I'm new at this and I could be leaving stuff out.
Thanks!
ETA: With the Crueltide post up, let me just say that while I like happy endings, I also like dark themes. I'm perfectly okay with bittersweet/hopeful/"Okay, we're homeless, broke, and have no clue where we're going to sleep tonight, but we're together and we'll get through this somehow" endings, too. Sometimes, a "Happily ever after with ponies and unicorns" doesn't work and that's fine! Of the tropes listed in the link, let me break down what I like, what I'm okay with, and what I definitely do not want. To the best of my knowledge, I don't actually have triggers, but I do have a few squicks.
In general, any of these tropes (even those under "Please No") would be fine if non-graphic/explicit or canonical. As an example, we know that Daredevil is blind. Mentioning how he got that way isn't a problem. Neither is Matt having to deal with the initial consequences. But if you're going to lovingly and graphically depict a very messy blinding (a la King Lear)... that's a little less fine. Similarly, there's a difference between two cops telling each other that the murder suspect was once accused of killing puppies, versus going into gory/graphic detail.
